PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wood block for improving food and drink quality capable of improving a food quality by adding the one in a cooking pot when cooking a rice or a food by sealing up fine powders of a specific mineral composite having characteristics capable of irradiating a far infrared, deodorant properties and antibacterial properties in a surface layer of the wood block by a specified method. SOLUTION: A solution of a mineral composite having <=5μm particle diameter and selected from a composite of (A) an amphibole and (B) a granite porphyry, a composite of the component A and (C) a quartz diorite, a composite of (D) a serpentine and component C and a composite of components A to D is introduced into a vacuum treating machine containing a wood blook and the mineral composite is sunk into pits of a surface layer part of the wood block and sealed by reducing the pressure in the vacuum treating machine. The objective goods is obtained by introducing the solution of the mineral composite into the vacuum treating machine containing the wood block, sinking the before solution of the composite in the pit of the surface layer part of the wood block by reducing the pressure to -500 to -700mmHg and thereafter returning the pressure to the normal pressure and drying the wood block taken out from the machine last. |
