PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to open a window glass even when a humen body has been caught by the window glass, by opening the window glass when a state caught thereby is detected for a specified time interval after the suspension of the closing motion of the window glass has been detected. SOLUTION: In a pressure-sensitive switch 4 fitted to the upper frame edge of a window 1, of which electrodes are oppositely arranged with a thin rubber material, the oppositely arranged electrodes are connected to each other owing to the deflection of the rubber and actuated when a pressing force acts on the switch to output a detected signal that something is caught to a controller 7. An electric current sensor 9 for locking detection is provided for the driving motor 8 of the window glass 2 to transmit a signal corresponding to the additional current in the motor 8 to the controller 7. The controller 7 receives the signal detected from the pressure-sensitive switch 4, the signal from the current sensor 9 for locking detection, and the signal from a power window switch 11 and when it is detected that something is caught for a specified time interval after it has confirmed that the closing motion of the window glass is suspended, the window glass is opened. |
