The present invention relates to massage devices (10) adapted for attachment to a mounting surface so as to position the device at a location which facilitates its contact with the body portion which is to be massaged. Another aspect of the present invention is a method of massaging a desired body portion comprising mounting a massage device on a support surface, and contacting the body portion with at least one body contacting surface on the massage device.
