PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a brake fluid pressure system suitable for a front drive vehicle by letting is have the same foundamental structure as the fundamental structure of a system for a rear drive vehicle, in regard to this hydraulic brake system which imparts the brake fluid pressure regulated by a pressure regulating valve means to a power chamber at the rear of a master cylinder piston and assists the drive of a brake operating member. SOLUTION: This brake system is equipped with a master cylinder MC and a regulator part RG interlocking with this master cylinder, and simultaneously it is provided with a sub-cylinder SC being interconnected to a pressure room R2 and a power room R1, pressurized by either side of output fluid pressure and outputting master cylinder fluid pressure out of a pressure room R12. A first fluid pressure system to be interconnected to the pressure room R2 is connected to one side (Wf1) of a wheel cylinder of a front wheel, and a second fluid pressure system to be interconnected to the pressure room R12 to the other (Wfr), respectively. Moreover, a third fluid pressure system to be interconnected to the power room R1 is connected to wheel cylinders Wrr and Wr1 of a rear wheel, and in this case, the sub-cylinder SC may be set up separately. |
