PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid silicone rubber compsn. excellent in moldability and capable of forming moldings excellent in weather resistance, flame retardancy and electric characteristics by incorporating an inorganic filler and a flame retarder into a specified liquid silicone rubber compsn. curable by the addition reaction. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane represented by the average unit formula: R<1> a R<2> b SiO4-a-b/2 (R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group free from aliph. unsaturation; R<2> is an aliph. unsatd. hydrocarbon group; a is 1.90 to 2.05; and b is 0.0005 to 0.1) and having a viscosity at 25 deg.C of 100 to 100,000cP, (B) 1 to 60 pts.wt. fumed silica having a specific surface area of at least 50m<2> /g, (C) 1 to 200 pts.wt. surface-treated zinc carbonate powder obtained by treating the surface of (a) zinc carbonate powder or basic zinc carbonate powder with (b) an organosilane or the like, (D) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having 2 or more H's bonded to Si [the molar ratio of the H to the alkenyl group of (A) being 0.5/1 to 20/1], and (E) a platinum catalyst. |
