SNOWFALL PREVENTING STRUCTURE FRO BRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snowfall preventing structure for allowing safe traveling on a bridge in a snowfalling season by fixing a coping having an inclined part chevron-shaped in section and an upright part protruded upward from the top part of the inclined part along the upper surface longitudinal direction of a frame member positioned in an upper side with respect to the passage of a bridge and coating the surface of the rail with a coating film layer made of solventless polyurethane resin paint. SOLUTION: A sliding member 2 reverse Y-shaped in section is fixed along the longitudinal direction of the upper surface of a pair of parallel upper chord materials 1 and 1 among frame members A constituting the upper part of a truss bridge. The sliding member 2 is composed of coping 3 reverse Y-shaped in section and a highly smooth coating layer 4 made of solventless polyurethane resin paint on the surface of the coping 3 and snowfall exceeding a fixed weight is naturally dropped as occasion demands. Thus, the occurrence of accidents following a great deal of snowfall from the upper side of the bridge in a snowfall season is prevented.
