PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for rollers, containing an ethylene- propylene copolymer rubber, a softening agent and a silica-based filler at a specific ratio, capable of surely attaching a transferred material on the surface of a recording medium, excellent in coefficient of dynamic friction and conveying property and suitable for recording medium conveying rollers. SOLUTION: This rubber composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. ethylene- propylene copolymer rubber, (B) 125-180 pts.wt. softening agent of naphthene- based oil, etc., and (C) 15-40 pts.wt. silica-based filler such as wet or dry silica. Furthermore, a recording medium conveying roller is preferably produced by using this rubber composition for rollers. |
