PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the generation of the slackening or jamming of a recording medium by keeping the tension of the recording medium almost constant by providing a slide contact part supporting the movement of the recording medium to one end of a cover member and providing springness to the slide contact part so as to make the slide contact part displaceable corresponding to the slide contact pressure of the recording medium. SOLUTION: A cover member 8 has the slide contact part 8a supporting the recording medium I fed from a flexible wiring board 5 at one end thereof and the slide contact part 8a is displaced up and down corresponding to the slide contact pressure of the recording medium I. For example, the slide contact part 8a is formed by bending a part of the cover member 8 at an angleθof 45-120 deg. so that one end thereof is brought to a non-contact state with respect to other member and the recording medium is supported only by the other end thereof. When external force is applied to the slide contact part 8a, the cover member 8 having springness is displaced up and down corresponding to the magnitude of external force. Therefore, the tension of the recording medium I can be kept almost constant and the generation of the slackening or jamming of the recording medium I is prevented to always form a sharp printing image on the recording medium I.
