PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for plasma-arc welding having high generating limit current of a series arc and to provide a plasma-arc welding method using this nozzle. SOLUTION: The surface roughness of the inner wall surface of nozzle hole of the nozzle body is made a mirror surface of <=2μm center line average height (Ra75 ). Further, the welding is executed to the abutting parts of the materials to be welded mutually abutted by using this nozzle. By this method, the high speed welding with high current can be executed and the productivity is improved. Further, the sound welded joint can be obtd. by the high speed welding.
