Construction with timber vertical drop compartments

Each compartment (3) has a base movable vertically and formed by a number of base components (4), which when the compartment is filled with timber pieces discharges these to a conveyor (9) beneath it for further handling. The base components are provided with a catchment component (10) pivotably arranged around a joint (11), which in the upper position of the base components extends above them and from beneath with one end freely supporting against a stop (14) fixed in space. The catchment component upper edge has an upper side which is similar to the upper side of the base component. The base component is provided with a stop (16), against which the longer part (12) of the catchment component rests, when the shorter part of the latter does not support against the stop.
