<p>PURPOSE:To provide an integrated circuit(IC) socket in which neighboring contact pins are mutually and surely separated and which makes multiple arrangement possible in accordance with high densification of the contact pins. CONSTITUTION:An insulating isolator 1 provided with a recessed part 1a making a contact part of a contact pin 2 and a spring partto fit at least to one side in a free state in formed separately from a socket main body 10.
