The belt winder (12) carries a turnable drag disc (32). This has a locking part (34) and is braked by friction on the frame (10). The ratchet (24) has a shoulder (24b). When the belt winder turns in winding direction, the shoulder engages on the locking part. This prevents the ratchet from engaging into the internal toothing. When the belt winder turns in unwinding direction through a preset rotary angle, the shoulder is freed from the locking part. The drag disc turned is turned against a friction force, relative to the frame, when the ratchet engages on the locking part during turning of the belt winder. This friction force is negligible relative to the force of the winding spring. <IMAGE> |
