A ratchet gear is formed to the front side of ratchet plate and gear teeth of the ratchet gear is placed downward. In the rear of the upper side of the lower support of the brake lever the ratchet plate and the fixed shaft is pivoted around the center shaft and the fixed shaft, with which a end of the brake cable is connected, is eccentrically formed against the center shaft. thereby the brake lever is down so that the wheels are braked and the brake lever is up so that the wheels are unlocked. The parking brake is improved the space utilization ability for removal projected obstacle in the car being parked and is safe not to easy the handling of parking lever in the parking state.
