PURPOSE:To automatically detect the illegal setting of a flag in a program by declaring the state of an internal flag to be expected by a false instruction on a part corresponding to the entrance of the program and comparing the internal flag state with the declared state when an emulator executes the part. CONSTITUTION:The program developing tool is provided with a function capable of automatically detecting the illegal setting of the internal flag when the emulator executes the program by declaring the state of the internal flag at the time of normally operating the program by the false instruction of an assembler on the part corresponding to the entrance of the program such as the head of a subroutine. Namely, the assembler outputs the address information of the declared position and its flag information to a debugging information file by declaring the state of the internal flag by the false instruction at the entrance of the program. Consequently, the illegal setting of the internal flag of the microcomputer can be automatically detected in the program. |
