The guide comprises a cable-shielding pipe (5) mounted with a hydraulic assembly (10) from a frame (7) attached to the side of the mother-ship. A winch arrangement (3, 4) is used to lower the shield to the desired depth, as well as to retrieve the guide. The cable exits the pipe via a wheel (14), which is mounted from the pipe in a manner allowing it to rotate freely about a vertical axis. |
