Control and/or calibration method of weighting instruments for conveyor belt

The method involves placing one or more calibrating loads (E) in a carriage (1) fitted with wheels (5). The distance between the front and rear wheels of the carriage is equal to the length of the weighting area. The carriage is placed on the empty belt (BT) which comes and stops on top of the weighting table. A frame (2A-2B) can be fitted to the chassis (L) of the conveyor system. A coupling mechanism (3,4) can be provided for connecting the ends of the carriage to two opposite ends of the frame, so as to immobilise the carriage above the weighing zone or the zone of influence of the weighing table. The carriage is immobilised in the transversal and longitudinal directions but has a limited vertical movement.
