Drill for dental implant positioning

The drill has a shank (1) extending from the flutes (3) surrounded by a cylindrical cutter (2) carrying, at its base a cutting edge (4) forming a circular lance. The upper end of the shank can be mounted in a dental micro-drill which turns the assembly. The cutting cylinder has holes (5) in it to aid clearance of debris. The drill flute section can extend several millimetres from the end of the cylindrical cutter.
