A power factor correction circuit of a continuous current control type generates a sine wave having the same phase as an input voltage by continuously controlling an input current of a power-supply unit, improves a power factor, has a higher input current average value than a power factor correction circuit of a discontinuous current control type, and achieves a high integration circuit with a simple structure. The power factor correction circuit includes: a power-supply unit(100); an output control unit(200) for controlling an output value of an input voltage signal; a signal feedback unit(300) which feeds back an output signal of the output control unit(200) with a constant magnitude, and compares it with a predetermined reference signal; a first comparison signal generator(400) for generating a first comparison signal by using an input voltage signal and the output signal of the signal feedback unit(300); a second comparison signal generator(500) for converting an input signal from the output control unit(200) to a constant magnitude signal, and generating a second comparison signal; and a controller(600) which compares the output signals of the first and second comparison signal generators(400,500) with a reference signal, and generating a corresponding control signal to the output control unit(200).
