The invention discloses the use of labdanum furanoid diterpenoids or plant extracts containing them. The labdanum furanoid diterpenoids of formula (I) or a plant extract containing them are used as a cosmetic agent or for producing a pharmaceutical, in particular dermatological, composition for improving epidermis keratinocyte differentiation. The compositions are useful for skin, hair or nail care, and are particularly useful to enhance the skin protective function, in particular, its moisture barrier function, and to promote keratinocyte differentiation. |
