SLIGHTLY EXPANDABLE THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITION FOR BUILDING MATERIAL AND BUILDING MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slightly expandable thermoplastic compsn. for a building material excellent not only in impact strength and weatherability but also in appearance and to provide a building material using the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by adding a thermally decomposable blowing agent to a compsn. comprising an acrylonitrile-ethylene/propylene rubbery copolymerstyrene terpolymer contg. 20-50wt.% ethylene/propylene rubbery copolymer component or by adding a thermally decomposable blowing agent to a compsn. which is prepd. by compounding an acrylonitrile-ethylene/propylene rubbery copolymer-styrene terpolymer with an acrylic-styrene copolymer having an acrylic unit content of 25-35wt.% and contains 20-50wt.% ethylene/propylene rubbery copolymer component. The compsn. is molded into a building material by profile extrusion.
