<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the misoperation of a tap function in a pad-type pointing device. SOLUTION: Information 6 for invalidating a tap operation in a pad part 4 is inputted from a keyboard 1 to a system part 2. When the system part 2 recognizes information, it outputs a corresponding command 7 to a decoding circuit 3. The decoding circuit 3 decodes the command 7 and outputs a signal 8 for invalidating the tap function to an AND gate 16. In the AND gate 16, an AND gate condition is not realized by the signal even if a tapping signal 9 is inputted from the pad part 4, and the tapping signal 9 is not inputted to the system part 2 in accordance with the result.</p> |
