<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diverge sheet material and eliminate static electricity by providing an electrostatic eliminating member having an open end exposed so as to be able to come in contact with the sheet material conveyed in a conveyred direction from the inside of a branching member, and a guide for guiding the sheet material, conveyed from a reverse direction, into a position where the tip of the sheet material does not come in contact with the open end of the electrostatic eliminating member. SOLUTION: A sheet reaching a flapper 34 is passed to the surface of a guide film 253 and to an electrostatic eliminating needle 252 by the guide of a multiple guide rib 34a and into an intermediate tray. At this time, static electricity charged on the sheet surface flows in from the tip part of the electrostatic eliminating needle 252 and flows to an electrostatic eliminating needle holder 251, a conductor, a connector and the ground of an image forming device body, and the static electricity on the sheet surface is eliminated. The static eliminated sheet is stacked in the intermediate tray, but since static electricity on the sheet surface is eliminated, the sheet can be stacked smoothly. In addition, a sheet reversed by a U-turn roller at the time of executing double side copying is prevented from being caught by the electrostatic eliminating needle 252.</p> |
