<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a plurality of paper feeding units with different sheet stacking forms without particularly arranging a signal line for discrimination by providing a control part for discriminating the sheet stacking form of each paper feeding unit on the basis of information from driving timing means. SOLUTION: A CPU having completed judgmen of a sheet stacking form of a paper feeding unit switches and sets the setting of input-output means 120, 121 to output and thereafter controls the input-output means 120, 121 serving as an output means for performing solenoid driving at the time of taking paper feeding action. At the time of judging a sheet stacking form, the CPU uses a driving signal line of a Tr1 105 and Tr2 109 for driving a solenoid 1 104 and a solenoid 2 108 serving as feed roller driving timing means, switches the input-output means 120, 121 to input setting only at the time of judgment, and judges the sheet stacking form on the basis of information from the driving timing means.</p> |
