摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation checking mechanism for preventing a ball from rolling in a state where the ball runs on the outer or the inner peripheral part of the inside of a rolling groove. SOLUTION: The front housing of a scroll type compressor is equipped with a fixed side race 24. On the other hand, a movable scroll is equipped with a movable side race 25. A ball 26 is made to exist between the above races. One face of each race is provided with rolling grooves 24c, 25c extending annularly along the locus of the revolving motion of the movable scroll, and the rolling groove receives the ball to check the rotation of a revolving member. In addition, the inner peripheral parts 24c1, 25c1 and outer peripheral parts 24c2, 25c2 of the insides of the rolling groove are formed in a curved face having the radius of curvature which is approximate to the radius of the ball and moreover larger than it, and bottom parts 24c3, 25c3 between the inner and the outer peripheral part are analytical and geometrical curved faces being the tangents of the above peripheral parts, and formed in a curved face having the radius of curvature larger than those of the inner and the outer peripheral parts of the rolling groove.
