PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily increase the mechanical strength of a container. SOLUTION: This reinforcing member 30 is used for a container in which a top plate 101 is detachable against a body plate 103. The container is provided with a reinforcing ring 10 extended along the periphery of the top plate and provided with a leg 11 and an arcuate part 12, and a band 20 fitted to the fixing part of the top plate and the body plate and detachably attached to the container and also provided with a fixing part 21 connecting to the arcuate part 12 so as to position the leg of the reinforcing ring to contact with the top plate.
