PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and exactly perform the correction of information concerning a financial institute such as a bank name. SOLUTION: In this document handling system including a facsimile equipment for reading a document, a character recognizing device for reading a cut part including the information concerning the financial institute in these image data and a data corrector 19 for correcting the read data, the corrector 19 of provided with a display part 25 for correspondently displaying the relevant parts of read data and image data and a storage part 26 for previously storing the information concerning the financial institute. When the information field concerning the financial institute is selected on the display part 25, information lists 31 and 36 corresponding to the information field are displayed on the display part 25. |
