PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at good information service for railway users by recording, on railway tickets, information codes available for railway users, letting them read information codes, letting them read the guidance data corresponding to the information codes and expressing the guidance data on a display means. SOLUTION: Magnetic recording medium is formed on the back surface of a railway ticket 2, and information code JC such as a starting station, a changing car station, etc., are written thereon by means of a ticket feeding machine. A data reading means 3 is composed of a magnetic card reader and when a railway ticket 2 is inserted therein, it reads the information code JC which is offered to a control means 4. The control means 4 supplies a data calling signal JD to a guidance data storing means 5 on the basis of the information code JC, reads out the guidance data DG corresponding to the information code JC from the guidance data storing means 5 so as to offer it to a display means 6. In this way, any using passenger can know the name of station available for riding on, car exchange station, time required to his objective station, etc., by just inserting the ticket in a guiding device 1. |
