PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the effective guidance for a user located at the middle of a ticket examination path by preparing a guide part approximately at the upper center part of the ticket examination machine body to give guidance to the user whose entering and leaving are rejected. SOLUTION: A display 4 serving as a guide part is prepared approximately at the center part on the upper surface G' of the body G of a ticket examination machine, i.e., on the upper surface G' set approximately at the center part of a ticket examination path P. Thus, the inserting guidance is performed for the remaining passenger tickets. When a user inserts one of paired tickets, e.g. an alighting ticket into the ticket examination machine and advances to the center part of the path P, this state is detected by a human body detectors S and a door D is closed. At the same time, the lamp 6 is turned on and then an announcement lamp L is turned on in red. Then the display 4 shows guidance to urge insertion of the other ticket when only one of paired ticket is put into a ticket slit 1. |
