PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leaning back of a heat by swelling an air bag and removing opening between a head of an occupant and a headrest mainbody when a shock is given to the back of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A headrest for a vehicle is provided with a shock detection means to detect a shock given to the back of a vehicle, an air bag 1 housed in a headrest main body 2, an air bag actuator 3 to swell the air bag 1, and a control means to control the air bag actuator 3 and to swell the air bag 1 when the volume of the shock detected by the shock detection means exceeds a prescribed value. |
