PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fixing rate of carbon dioxide at the surface of a foam by a method wherein a urethane foam containing carbon dioxide in its closed cells is formed between an inner box and an outer box and the carbon dioxide is caused to react on epoxide to depressurize the cells and a closed cell layer is laminated beforehand on the inner surface of one of the boxes. SOLUTION: A urethane resin raw material is filled between an inner box 1 and an outer box 2 and expanded to form a urethane foam 3 having closed cells containing at least carbon dioxide. In this case, closed cell bodies 4, 5 are laminated on the inner surface of at least one of the inner box 1 and the outer box 2. Thereafter, by the addition reaction between carbon dioxide in the cells and epoxide in the urethane raw material, the carbon dioxide is fixed and the cells are depressurized, and hence high heat insulating performance can be obtained. At that moment, since the cell bodies 4, 5 are provided, heat generated in the foam 3 is not easily released to the outside so that fixing reaction of carbon dioxide near the surface of the foam 3 can be accelerated by the epoxide. |
