PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of care workers when an aged person takes a bath, by providing a bathtub support base forming the bathtub at the same level with the washing floor, a care space, and a step in a base for the bathtub installed in a lower position than the washing floor. SOLUTION: A floor pan 1 on which a bathtub base 1b is positioned at a lower level than the washing floor 1a, is formed in a bathroom unit A provided with side walls 2 and the ceiling 3. A bathtub 5 is put on a bathtub support base 4 set at nearly the same level with the washing floor 1a, in the bathtub base 1b. A care space 6 is formed at the upper part of the bathtub base 1b and at the side of the bathtub 5. Adjuster bolts 8 to control the height are provided at the step 7 for a care worker, set lower than the washing floor 1a. A clearance in which a care worker can sufficiently insert the tip of his toe is provided at the superposed part where the bathtub support base 4 and the step 7 for a care worker are mutually and partly covered with each other. In this way, when taking care of an aged person in the bathtub, the care worker can stand firm and hence, his physical burden can be lightened. |
