<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning unit which attempts to reduce a pressure loss in the treatment of a large quantity of air, to improve dust collection efficiency, to decrease the size and weight, and to facilitate maintenance. SOLUTION: A unit is equipped with discharge wires 321 to which high voltage is applied, a conductive plate 32a which is arranged between the discharge wires 321 and generates corona discharge between it and the wires 321, an ionizer unit 35 which charges fine particles passing between the wires 321 and the plate 32a and collects the charged particles, and dust collecting units 33 which are formed to be smaller than the ionizer unit 35 and arranged in parallel downwind from the unit 35.</p> |
