PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensate from being generated on an indoor fan by a method wherein the operating frequency of a compressor is reduced when a difference between the dew point temperature of indoor suction air and the evaporating temperature of refrigerant has exceeded a specified value after a given period of time has elapsed during cooling operation. SOLUTION: A refrigerant controller is constituted so that humidity sensors 13, 14 and coil temperature sensors 15, 16 are provided in indoor units 7, 8 to reduce the operating frequency of a compressor 2 by a specified value when a difference between a dew point of suction air, which is detected by the humidity sensors 13, 14, and the evaporation temperature of refrigerant, which is detected by the coil temperature sensors 15, 16, has exceeded a specified value after cooling operation had been effected for a given period of time. |
