PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lustered polypropylene fiber good in dyeability and also having such fast dyeability as not to decolor even subjected to acetone extraction, by making a polypropylene composition finely dispersed with specific crosslinked polymer particles into a fiber. SOLUTION: This polypropylene fiber is obtained by melt spinning of a polypropylene composition finely dispersed with crosslinked polymer particles 0.01-0.08μm in average size which is prepared by polymerizing a maleimide-based monomer with a crosslinking agent. The polypropylene composition can be produced, for example, by the above-mentioned polymerization in a molten polypropylene. |
