AUTOFOCUSING DEVICE FOR IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING ZOOM TRACKING CURVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocusing device and a correcting method for correcting a zoom tracking curve with respect to an intermediate object distance without the increase of storage capacity. SOLUTION: Plural zoom tracking curves L1(Z) and L2(Z) corresponding to plural different object distances and a correction dataα(Z) previously calculated are stored in a memory. A control circuit performs specified interpolation processing by using stored plural zoom tracking curves and correction data, and calculates corrected zoom tracking curve L(Z) with respect to the object distance different from the plural object distances. The tracking control of focusing is performed based on the calculated zoom tracking curve.
