PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pack or unpack a large size PDP for oneself. SOLUTION: When a PDP 2 is packed, the rear face 4a of the lower side carton 4 is separated from both side faces 4b and the rear face 4a is pushed down rearward to open nearly horizontally to the bottom face 4c. The rear face 3a of the lower side pad 3 can be separated from both side faces 3b in the structure. Vertical grooves 3d and wedge-shaped fixing parts 3e are provided between the rear face 3a and the both side faces 3b. When packing a PDP 2, the rear face 3a is removed in advance from the lower side pad 3 and the PDP 2 is almost horizontally transferred without raising it up from the opened part of the rear face 4a of the lower side carton 4 and the rear face of the lower side pad 3 to gradually insert it into the lower side pad 3. After the PDP has been put at a specified position, the fixing parts 3e of the rear face 3a of the lower side pad 3 are inserted in the grooves 3d and fixed therein. And then the rear face 4a of the lower side carton is erected. The upper end of the PDP 2 is inserted in the hole of the upper side pad 1 and the upper side carton 5 is put over from the upper side and the lower part thereof is fixed in the lower side carton 4 with an adhesive tape or the like. |
