<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stroke of a ball along a hooked and wrong direction by engraving anoblique line on the upper surface of a putter head in a direction from the upper right side to the lower left side. SOLUTION: An oblique line 5 is engraved on the upper surface part 1 of a putter head along a direction from the upper right side to the lower left side. In the case of a putter having the upper surface part 1 of three-dimensional form, a guide line is provided so as to enable a player to see the oblique line 5 similarly along a direction from the upper right side to the lower left side, when the putter head is viewed from an upper level. At the time of putting, a player strokes a ball, so as not to change the angle of the oblique line 5, thus properly moving the putter head forward, and preventing the occurrence of a stroke in a hooked and wrong direction. Also, a time difference appears between the stroke of a ball with a face and the passage of the oblique line 5 across a position under the eyes, when a ball is stroked without changing the angle of the oblique line 5. As a result, a head-up motion is prevented by the time difference and the proper stroke of a ball is ensured.</p> |
