PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an exhaust gas treatment capacity by increasing the contact between the droplets of treatment liquid and exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Spray nozzles 24 are installed so that the jet currents of treatment liquid 19 which dispersingly jetted downward from the spray nozzles 24 cross each other in a high speed jet area A, and exhaust gas is contacted with fine droplets produced by the collision in the area A of the jet currents.
