PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently develop the ability of an indoor machine and maintain and improve the comfortability even if multi-room air conditioning, in which refrigerant is passed through a plurality of indoor heat exchangers, is switched to one-room air conditioning by controlling the indoor machines so as to increase the quantity of airflow thereof. SOLUTION: In a refrigeration cycle of a multi-room type air conditioner for exclusive use is cooling, a compressor 1 and an outdoor heat exchanger 2 are provided, and throttling means 3a-3c using capillary tubes in each room, open/closure valves 4a-4c, and indoor heat exchangers 5a-5c are provided. And indoor machine controllers 8a-8c and an outdoor machine controller 6 are interconnected by signal lines 11a-11c. In this case, when multi-room air conditioning is switched to one-room air conditioning, the quantity of airflow of respective indoor machines is increased for a predetermined period of time, and when one-room air conditioning is started before a predetermined time passes after stopping multi-room air conditioning, the quantity of airflow of respective indoor machines is increased until a predetermined time period passes. Thus, the refrigeration capacity of the indoor machines can be increased during one-room air conditioning. |
