PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a corona product stuck on an image carrier surface so as to prevent any image quality deterioration and peeling-off of a cleaning blade, etc., by actuating a polishing means according to the image carrier surface condition detected by a surface condition detecting means so as to polish the image carrier surface. SOLUTION: On the circumference of a photoreception drum 2, such screen image forming devices are arranged as a primary electric charger 3, a developing device 4, a transfer drum 5, a magnetic brush 6 and a cleaning device 7, etc. In this constitution, the magnetic brush 6 is a photoreception drum polisher and so constituted as making action only when the electric current value detected by a photoreception drum motor electric current detecting means for measuring a frictional force between the surface of the photoreception drum 2 and the cleaning blade 7a of the cleaning device 7a. Any corona product stuck on the surface of the photoreception drum 2 is eliminated by this magnetic brush 6. |
