PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the service life of a battery in common use among a plurality of communication systems and to prevent the communication performance from being deteriorated in the portable information communication equipment provided with a plurality of communication systems. SOLUTION: The portable information communication equipment is provided with reception circuits as global positioning system(GPS) receivers and transmission reception circuits being personal digital cellular systems(PDC) as a plurality of communication systems using a secondary battery in common, and power is always supplied from the secondary battery to the transmission reception circuits and in the case that a speech is started via a transmission reception circuit in the midst of making periodic positioning by using a reception circuit, power supply to the reception circuit is stopped, and after the speech is finished, the power supply to the reception circuit is restarted and the positioning is continued. |
