PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent some fins from being projected out of a flowing pipe for coolant while exceeding an allowable degree, becoming a defect not allowable for the degree or to prevent the fins from being reproduced or wasted by a method wherein the coolant flowing pipe is properly supported and some zig-zag formed fins can be aligned with the coolant flowing pipe. SOLUTION: At a crest part of a zig-zag fin 41 or at an intermediate part between its extremity ends 45, 47 is provided a detent section 55. Tubs 57, 59 are projected at both extremity ends. These tubs are adjacent to the outer- most edges 25, 27 at front and rear sides of a flowing pipe 21 and extend to outsides of these outer-most edges. The flowing pipe 21 is held in the detent section 55. A header and the zig-zag fin 41 are of brazed clads, thereby the header and the zig-zag fin are brazed to the flowing pipe when they pass through a brazing furnace. The tubs of the fins are brazed to the outermost edges of the flowing pipe and the intermediate parts of the extremity ends of the fins are brazed to the upper and lower surfaces of the flowing pipe. |
