PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas discharge display device in which a modification part of a wiring anode does not influence the display and which is capable of modification after completion of the display device. SOLUTION: In a gas discharge display device 61 in which an anode 53, a main discharge electrode 29, and an auxiliary discharge electrode 30 are opposed with each other between a front plate 57 and a back plate 28, rare gas is sealed, and an outer circumference of the front panel 57 and a back panel board 28 are sealed, the rear board 28 is formed with a sealing layer 21 and a substrate layer 27, and the main discharge electrode 29 and the auxiliary discharge electrode 30 are formed on the top face of the substrate layer 27. And, a connection hole 35 penetrating the sealing layer 21 and the substrate layer 27 is formed, the connection hole 35 opening on the back face of the sealing layer 21 is occluded by means of an anode 23 or an auxiliary anode 25, and the main discharge electrode 29 is made conductive with the anode 23 or the auxiliary anode 25 via the connection hole 35. |
