PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing Shirataki (very thin Japanese noodles made from devil's tongue), capable of preventing the contamination of the product by fine devil's tongue pieces without lowering the efficiency of the production. SOLUTION: A Shirataki raw material 40b formed in a thin belt-like shape with a boiling device 25 is carried with a conveyer 30 through a pair of brushes 29. During the carriage, the Shirataki raw material 40b is washed with water jetted from the nozzles 35a of a washing device 35, cut with a longitudinal cutter 37 into a prescribed width, and subsequently cut with a latitudinal cutter 36 in a prescribed length to prepare the Shirataki 40c. |
