摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the focus and imaging power of the adjusting device itself in a short time by automatically positioning an optical unit so that the unit does not become out of focus after an optical lens is moved and put in focus. SOLUTION: The output of an image pickup element CCD7 of this optical unit 4 is inputted to an output waveform processing means 20 and waveform processing is performed to find the focus and imaging power. A decision means 21 compares the outputs with reference values and inputs the results to a lens movement quantity calculation means 22, which calculates the movement quantity of an image forming lens 6. This result is inputted to a lens moving means 23 for a driving motor and also stored in a lens movement quantity storage means 24. Then an optical unit movement quantity calculation means 25 calculates the movement quantity of the optical unit 4 and the optical unit 4 is moved through an optical unit moving means 26. Thus, the optical lens and optical unit can automatically be positioned so that they do not become out of focus after the focus adjustment.
