PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a excellent surface protection film excellent in initial adhesion even at a low temperature, low in advancing of the adhesion even after the heating treatment, hardly soiling a surface of the protected material under a high temperature circumstance. SOLUTION: This surface protection film has an adhesive layer comprising a linear low density polyethylene resin copolymerized with anα-olefin consisting of 4-methyl-1-pentene as a comonomer and having 0.870-0.910g/cm<3> density and a resin of a pentaerythritol ester of a completely hydrogenated rosin on one surface of a base film composed of a synthetic resin.
