发明名称 FORCEPS FOR BLOOD VESSEL COAGULATING AND BLOOD STOPPING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent vital tissues from scorching and sticking by disposing sintered compacts having low thermal conductivity and having an electrical insulation characteristic in the blood vessel constricting parts of forceps and providing these sintered compacts with plural pieces of through holes which have a prescribed average hole diameter or below acting as electrodes. CONSTITUTION: The front end parts A of the forceps 1 consist of a pair of the blood vessel constricting parts 10, 10 made of a metal, such as stainless steel or titanium. Contact members 10a, 10b in contact with the blood vessel B in actuality are composed of the sintered compacts having the electrical insulation characteristics. The thicknesses of these contact members 10a, 10a are preferably thin in terms of workability at the front ends A of the forceps 1 and at the time of holding and the thickness of <=0.3mm is more preferable in terms of required output. The blood vessel constricting parts 10, 10 are disposed with plural pieces of the electrodes of the average hole diameter of <=200&mu;m acting as the electrodes uniformly over the entire part of the contact surfaces of the contact members 10a, 10b. The sizes of the electrodes are made as thin as possible in order to render the surer coagulating and blood stopping effect, by which the heat generated in the vital tissues is locally suppressed.
