PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleanser composition comprising a specific hydrocarbon compound, a nonionic surfactant, an alcoholic compound and water, excellent in cleansability, storability and long-term performance maintainability, without foaming and useful for removing oils stuck to various kinds of parts, etc. SOLUTION: This cleanser composition comprises (A) 1-30wt.% of a hydrocarbon compound selected from the partial or perfect hydrogenation product of a monoterpene, a (branched) paraffin base hydrocarbon of the formula: Cm H2m+2 [(m) is 15-24] and a naphthene base hydrocarbon of the formula: Cx H2x [(x) is 3-14], (B) 0.2-20wt.% of a nonionic surfactant of the formula: R-Pb-O-(CH2 CH2 O)n H [R is a 5-17C alkyl; Ph is phenyl; (n) is 2-12], (C) 0-10wt.% of an alcoholic compound selected from propargyl alcohol and a compound of the formula: R'(OH)y [R' is a 2-8C (un)saturated hydrocarbon group; (y) is 2, 3], and (D) is 50-98.8wt.% of water. |
