PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a joint section of an expandable canvas not movably on a tooth forming recessed channel. SOLUTION: One end of a flexible positioning string 22 is fixed on one end side of a molding die 1, and tension is provided for a positioning string 22 by pulling the other end side, and a joint section 12 of an expandable canvas 10 is pressed by the positioning string 22 in the tensioned state to position the joint section on a tooth forming recessed channel 3. Then a tension member code is wound in the spiral shape, and the tension of the positioning string 22 is released and removed from the tooth forming recessed channel 3. Then an unvulcanized rubber sheet is wound on the tension member code, and then pressure vulcanization molded to mold a cylindrical slab, and the slab is cut into round slices of a given width to manufacture a boothed belt. |
