FREQUENCY CODING OPTICAL CDMA TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND ITS OPTICAL RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an economical optical transmission system that conducts decoding simply in which an optical transmitter and an optical receiver are connected to an optical fiber network and the optical transmitter supplies a light having its frequency coding spectral characteristic to the optical fiber network. SOLUTION: An optical receiver 12 is provided with a single photoelectric detector 6 that converts a received light into an electric signal and is connected to decoders 9, 10 directly or indirectly to reproduce information included in a specific frequency coding spectrum. The decoders are provided with a band pass filter 9 to apply filter processing to the electric signal and with a demodulator 10 to demodulate the electric signal outputted from the band pass filter.
